Marche

Marche is located in the central of Italy and is on the East side of the Adriatic sea it boarders the regions of Emilia Romagna to the North, as well as the republic of San Marino, Tuscany is on the North West side as Umbria is to the West, Abruzzo and Lazio are to the South.

The population is of 1,565,000 people and covers an area of 9,366 km² (3,616 sq miles).

There are four provinces: Ancona, Ascoli Piceno, Macerata and Pesaro and Urbino with Ancona being the Capital of the region.
