My name is Benito Casci and Houses in Tuscany is my privately owned agency in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, where I have returned to live after living in Scotland for several years. The Garfagnana Valley is situated north of Tuscany, near Lucca.

Its isolated position, away from the crowded main roads, has allowed the area to retain its unique natural beauty and culture.

From spring to summer, the landscape presents itself in every imaginable shade of green, and in contrast the winter brings snow covered hilltops and mountains.

This is a place where time stands still, and where many old traditions that have long been forgotten elsewhere in Tuscany are still practiced.
